Our philosophy is People Helping People and with the generous support of our members we are able to do just that. It is common for us to sponsor many school projects and local fundraising events; however, we also take great pride in our community involvement. Below is just small glimpse at some of the things we’ve been doing.

Leah Consier (South Hamilton-Jewell), Kim Galles (St Edmond-FD), John Seiser (Northeast Hamilton-Blairsburg) and Kelsey Urlis (Duncombe-FD) each won a $500 grant. They were chosen based on their application of how they would use the funds to complement their teaching and benefit the students.
Peoples CU collected and matched donations during the WC community-wide food drive.
Just over $580 was collected and split between FD & WC Backpack weekend food programs.
To Spark the Spirit of holiday giving, we selected 3 nonprofit charities to receive a combined total of $850 in donations based on a community vote. Winners/Donation: Meals on Wheels/$500, American Legion Post 191/$250, Youth Shelter Care/$100
We helped seniors in Webster & Hamilton Counties receive a little cheer. Over 100 seniors had gifts to unwrap through community contributions!
Another year of collecting gifts for children to have something special to unwrap.

Helping local educators with classroom supplies, Peoples CU raised over $440 to purchase items off their wish lists!
Peoples CU helped sponsor the first ever 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲 event hosted by Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance. Over 100 new residents signed up to attend.
Peoples CU donates $50,000 to the Elks Building project. The renovated building will offer many opportunities for social events, cultural entertainment, and private events.
Jordan Hensley, Peoples CU CEO delivers a $1,000 donation to support the HCFF Restroom & Shower House Renovation project.
73 member students stopped in to claim their reward for good grades. 20 of those students were Gold Star entries (straight A's). $1,313 total dollars was paid out!
Peoples CU helped sponsor a sold-out crowd to the Downtown Country Jam.

Through staff, members’ contributions and Peoples CU monetary match, over $700 was donated to help fill the Joy Mobile with free books for the children in Fort Dodge to take home and enjoy!

48 member students stopped in to claim their reward for good grades. 11 of those students had straight A’s and were entered into the Gold Star drawing for a chance at an additional $100. $992 total dollars was paid out this year!

Food and money collected helped fill UDMO food pantries in FD and WC throughout February. Peoples CU matched funds donated.
A $500 Kendall Young Library donation went a long way to help fund the “Take + Make” activity bags handed out weekly.
